The Women in IT Networking at SC (WINS) program was developed as a means for addressing the prevalent gender gap that exists in Information Technology (IT) particularly in the fields of network engineering and high performance computing (HPC). WINS is a project managed by the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR).
A donation of any amount would be a great way to show your commitment to supporting the WINS effort to provide a sustainable diverse IT community. Donations from other companies or organizations have typically been in the $10,000 range, but any amount is both helpful and very much appreciated.
Donations and contributions will be used to support gender diversity in IT with a focus on network engineering and network security disciplines. Activities will include both skill and professional development opportunities, including scholarships to participate in national and regional conferences, workshops or other engagement activities, such as participating in SCinet in support of the annual Supercomputing Conference.
Donation recognition will be made on the WINS web page, at any public events verbally and on slide presentations, the opportunity to provide branded items to the participants, and appropriate WINS printed materials.
